Because of existing zoning ordinance, which
states that a Private School must have three acres or more they can not get a
Conditional Use Permit because the Webster University School of Music property only
has 2.5 acres. In order to speed the process up since the Plan Commission must
approve it first and then the Council. Mr. Ollendorff requested Council to set Public
Hearing for October 10 and later this evening a bill would be introduced which could
become an ordinance upon approval at the next Regular Session.

Ms. Colquitt motioned for approval of Public Hearing and was seconded by Ms.
Brungardt.

Mr. Wagner was willing to work with the developer but suggested another way to handle
so as not to change the ordinance to allow all schools not to be on a bigger lot.
