Mr. Wagner said this ordinance meaning is that the restrictions from Asbury to the east will
be dropped but will keep the restrictions on the west end of Forsyth, the south side. It will
remove the current restriction which now creates a parking lane on the south side when
Highway 40 opens. He said the understanding is the Public Works department will inform
the rest of the south side that the opportunity is available to them to remove their parking
lane if they come forward with a spokesman as did the north side of Forsyth and the west
end of Forsyth.

Roll Call Vote was:
AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor
Adams
NAYS: none

Bill 9051 passed unanimously and became Ordinance 6796.

K. CITIZEN COMMENTS
Stefany Brot, 8145 Cornell Ct.
Ms. Brot congratulated the Council on obtaining a grant to build a new fire station and to
have the land on which it will be built, donated by Washington University. She reminded
the Council that it is the government and the staff’s obligation to make sure that
whatever is approved gets constructed according to the requirement. Ms. Brot
encouraged doing research on the bidders and view the work they have completed
better than what happened with some parts of City Hall’s renovation. This reminded her
that the front door of City Hall looks positively awful since it was ruined in the renovation
process and hoped that it would be corrected as this is the first view of our magnificent
building.
