Increase in <br />pension fund payments offset by medical insurance cost savings. <br /> <br />#2 - Picnic Beer and Wine License <br />Recommended for approval and fee waiver for University City Education <br />Foundation's 10th anniversary event. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe Jr. The motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM #2 - 6311 Bartmer Office and Warehouse Site Plan <br /> <br />Approval of the site plan for Highland Homes was recommended for approval, subject to <br />conditions for plan compliance, landscaping, lighting, drainage, and grading, traffic & <br />parking control. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr., motioned for approval and was seconded by Ms. Brot. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot wanted to go on record thanking Highland Homes for wanting to build homes in <br />University City for people having a middle class income to accommodate of middle <br />class income. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch congratulated Highland Homes of all the work they do in University City. <br />She said she is glad they have chosen to stay in University City. Ms. Welsch also <br />congratulated them on building their homes in an energy efficient way. She was proud <br />to have such a forward-thinking company in the community. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams thanked them also for moving into University City. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM #3 - 7346 Forsyth Penthouse Addition Site-Plan <br /> <br />Approval was recommended for Site Plan for1430 sq ft addition in converting structure <br />from twelve apartments to six highly enhanced condominiums. <br /> <br />Ms. Wagner motioned for approval and was seconded by Ms. Brot. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch said she was in favor of this project but asked City Manager if there was <br />any research on the impact of farther "condo-isation" of our community.
