Regular meeting <br />March 06, 2006 <br /> <br /> <br />#3 — E. G. Lewis Historic Marker <br />Centennial Committee requested approval to place historic marker and <br />plaque commemorating City’s founder, on the grounds of City Hall. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch motioned for approval of the Consent Calendar and was seconded by Mr. <br />Sharpe, Jr. The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM #2 – ATM Conditional Use 7343 Olive <br />The Plan Commission recommended an ATM at 7343 Olive be approved by the <br />Council, provided applicant met state requirements. Motion to accept was made by Mr. <br />Wagner and seconded by Ms. Welsch. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt asked about the hours of operation and if it had been told by applicant that <br />it would be 24 hours. <br /> <br />Mr. Pete Pena, 12935 Gravois Rd. (applicant) <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr. asked of applicant if they had agreed to all of the conditions. Mr. <br />Ollendorff said that they are still negotiating the Olive enhancements. Mr. Sharpe said <br />that the applicant is an existing business and was wondering why all the conditions <br />were proposed. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams asked if the maintenance of the environmental conditions were required <br />by owner to maintain. Mr. Ollendorff agreed and said if any person is in violation of the <br />conditions agreed to, this violation should be reported this to him for enforcement. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt requested a delay of approving this until it was verified that all residents <br />surrounding the area were notified of Public Hearing. There was not a second to Ms. <br />Colquitt motion to delay. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch said that the applicant complied with all the City’s requirements, therefore <br />he should not be delayed any longer. The Plan Commission did have a Public Hearing <br />and no one came forward to voice a complaint. <br /> <br />The motion passed six to one with one Nay vote coming from Ms. Colquitt. <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM #3 – Sewer Lateral Repair Co-pay Reduction. <br />The Sewer Lateral Repair Program was financially healthy so Mr. Ollendorff <br />recommended reducing deductible from $500 to $300 and the 20% co-pay to 10%. Mr. <br />Ollendorff stated that possible future consideration might be to cover less serious sewer <br />lateral defects or make eligible sections that are close to collapsing. <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />
