supervising the graduate studio and Richard Reilly, formerly of BOA, will be consulting <br />on getting LEED certification for the homes. <br />parking restrictions on Midland <br />Please be advised that the County will revise the <br />Boulevard <br />, between Canton Avenue and Olive Boulevard (Rte 340), in accordance with <br />the following: <br /> East Side of Midland Boulevard will allow full time parking from Olive Boulevard <br />to 200 feet south of Canton Avenue and retain the full time parking prohibition <br />from 200 feet south of Canton Avenue to Canton Avenue to allow northbound <br />drivers to queue in the proper lanes on Midland Boulevard in advance of the <br />traffic signal at Canton Avenue. <br /> West Side of Midland Boulevard will allow full time parking from Canton Avenue <br />to Melrose Avenue, north of Olive Boulevard and retain the full time parking <br />prohibition from Melrose Avenue to Olive Boulevard to allow southbound drivers <br />to queue in the proper lanes on Midland Boulevard in advance of the traffic signal <br />at Olive Boulevard. <br /> Changes in signage regarding revisions of the above referenced parking <br />restrictions along the east and west sides of Midland Boulevard will be made in <br />conjunction with various signal modifications and striping changes. We will <br />schedule all the necessary signing, striping, and signal work in early Spring 2010, <br />when weather permits. <br />North & South Road, between Delmar Boulevard and Gannon Avenue <br /> On , <br />we will remove; the “No Parking 7-9 AM, 4–6 PM Mon – Fri” signs. However, we <br />will maintain “No Parking Any Time” corner clearance signing on the northeast <br />and northwest corners of Delmar Boulevard and North & South Road, and on the <br />southeast and southwest corners of Gannon Avenue and North & South Road. <br />This signing work will be scheduled within the next three weeks, weather <br />permitting. <br />Pension Board <br />A reminder, that the Council Members are invited to attend the next <br />meeting <br /> for a discussion of the Pension Board’s report regarding transitioning to a <br />defined contribution pension program for non-uniformed personnel. The Pension Board <br />will meet on Tuesday, January 26 at 7:00 PM. Below is a <br />summary of the activities thus far. <br /> City Council passed revised solid waste code, including increased delinquency <br />penalties. <br /> Began delinquency enhanced payment program by notifying owners of their <br />delinquency and providing an amnesty program waiving half of interest/penalties <br />for full payment. <br /> <br />
