Session 1732, Minutes <br />September 28, 1998 <br /> <br />Cummings, McGowan & West <br /> <br />$15,870.00 <br /> <br />Erb Equipment <br /> <br />$26,625.00 <br /> <br />Dinzler Equipment Company <br /> <br />$11,515.00 <br /> <br />The Street Division evaluated the bids submitted. The department determined that the <br />roller bid by Dinzler did not meet their specifications. Therefore, Mr. Ollendorff <br />recommends awarding the purchase to Cummins, McGowan & West for their low bid of <br />$15,870.00. <br /> <br />#7 - Replace City's Fleet Fueling Cente/: Invitations for Bids were issued to four <br />companies on the above project which includes the removal of existing storage tanks, <br />installation of new tanks, pump island, automated tank monitoring/fuel dispensing <br />systems and a new fence for the Central Garage. $78,000 was budgeted for this <br />purchase. The results are as follows: <br /> <br />Commonwealth Construction Co. <br /> <br />$93,314.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Otlendofff recommends awarding the project to Commonwealth for their bid of <br />$93,314.00. This project is mandated by the State of Missouri. <br /> <br />#8 - Picnic Liauor License - Loop Festival: Mr. Ollendorff recommends approval of the <br />annual picnic liquor license for the University City Loop Community Foundation for use <br />during their annual event October 9-11, 1998. Alcoholic beverage sales at this event <br />for the past several years have been well controlled and caused no police problems. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the consent calendar. Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA #2:1999 COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE: <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommends changing two 1999 City Council meeting dates from August <br />9 to August 16 and from December 13 to December 20. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA #3:7353 DELMAR CONDOMINIUMS: <br /> <br /> <br />
