Session 1710, Minutes <br />November 3, 1997 <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said that Addis Restaurant in the Loop had to do the same thing. <br />Tonight their liquor license was approved well after the six month period. <br /> <br />The all-aye motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL REPORT <br /> <br />Mayor Adams noted the personnel report ending October 3, 1997, was received <br />and ordered filed. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS: <br /> <br />Ms. Paula O'Keefe, 6919 Columbia, asked for a status report on the petition drive <br />for the Neighborhood Improvement District for University Heights Number One. <br />She said they have been getting conflicting reports as to how many signatures <br />were needed to have the required amount. The City Clerk reported that <br />approximately ten were still needed, but that there were one set of signatures that <br />needed the circulator's notarized signature on before those could be counted. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff said that the bills could not be drafted until all the signatures and the <br />number required were received and verified before the bills could be prepared. <br /> <br />CITY CLERK'S DOCKET: <br /> <br />BILL FOR SECOND AND THIRD READING: <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8354 - AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO ADMINISTRATION OF REPEALING <br />SECTION2-7.1 THEREOF, RELATING TO FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE <br />SERVICE AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />"SECTION 2-7.1. FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE, "TO INCREASE <br />THE BASE FEE FROM ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SIX DOLLARS ($156) TO TWO <br />HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200); CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING <br />A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call vote <br />was as follows: AYES: Mr. Ware, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. <br />Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none.
