FLSA overtime will not be paid only in the event that an employee is absent during that same 28 day <br />cycle due to usage of sick time or leave without pay. In addition, light duty hours worked due to an <br />off duty injury will not qualify for FLSA overtime. Paid sick leave, comp time, administrative leave <br />pending investigation, and unpaid leave will not apply toward hours worked for the non-scheduled <br />or emergency overtime rate of pay at one and one-half (½) of that employee’s regular hourly rate. <br />Section 3. <br /> A) From and after June 28, 2006, initially payable July 14, 2006, Firefighters and Paramedic <br />Firefighters shall receive compensation for seven (7) years consecutive City service, excepting <br />military leave of absence, in their present classification in the following amounts, from the eighth <br />thth <br />(8 <br />) year through the tenth (10) year: <br />In Pay Grade Monthly Amount <br /> 11A Firefighters $77 <br /> 11M Paramedic Firefighters $77 <br /> 16M Paramedic Fire Captains $86 <br />B) From and after June 28, 2006, initially payable July 14, 2006, Firefighters and Paramedic <br />Firefighters shall receive compensation for ten (10) years consecutive City service, excepting <br />military leave of absence, in their present classification in the following amounts, from the eleventh <br />thth <br />(11) year through the twentieth (20) year: <br />In Pay Grade Monthly Amount <br /> 11A Firefighters $133 <br /> 11M Paramedic Firefighters $133 <br />C) The following is only for Firefighters who will be receiving 20 years longevity pay on <br />October 1, 2001. They shall continue their pay status but no new awards shall be made after that <br />date. From and after June 21, 2000, initially payable July 7, 2000, Firefighters shall receive <br />compensation for twenty (20) years consecutive City service, excepting military leave of absence, in <br />st <br />their present classification in the following amounts, from the twenty-first (21) year. <br />In Pay Grade Monthly Amount <br /> 11A Firefighters $168 <br />For the purpose of calculating consecutive service in this section, time served in the classifications <br />of Firefighter, Paramedic Firefighter, and Paramedic Fire Captain is combined for the same person. <br />Section 4. From and after July 1, 1985, all full-time employees shall have their hourly <br />rate computed as follows: <br />4 <br /> <br />
