Session 1708, Minutes <br />October 13, 1997 <br /> <br />support the Cross County Corridor for MetroLink, connecting about eight different <br />cities. Obviously, the project cannot proceed without gaining approval for this <br />quarter cent sales tax. The other matter, important to us, is having the additional <br />monies, with the Bi-State people, will make it a lot easier to gain the objectives of <br />our own resolution. <br /> <br />APPOINTMFNTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Ware moved the appointment of Ms. Crystal Overstreet, 7300 Dorset, to the <br />Historic Preservation Commission for a three year term ending September 9, 2000. <br />Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved the appointment of Ms. Pamela Burton, 763 Le Pere Avenue <br />to the Municipal Commission on Arts & Letters for an unexpired term ending <br />January 2, 1999. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved the appointment of Mr. Marc Hirschman, 6902 Washington, <br />to the Industrial Development Authority for an unexpired six year term ending <br />August 27, 1999 and to the Tax Increment Financing Commission for an unexpired <br />four year term ending August 19, 2000. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, <br />which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REAPPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved the reappointments of Mr. Dale Hermeling, 7041 Maryland and <br />Mr. Eric Sandweiss, 728 Trinity, to the Historic Preservation Commission for three <br />year terms ending September 9, 2000. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved the reappointment of Melissa Kreishman, 6916 Waterman, to <br />the Board of Adjustment for a term ending July 7, 2002. Mr. Wagner seconded <br />the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved the reappointment of Fred Kirk, 6319 Waterman, and Earlan <br />Greer, 7024 Dover, to the Board of Appeals for terms ending August 1, 2002. Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams noted that he and other members of the Council still had <br />appointments to make and urged everyone to move forward with these tasks. <br /> <br /> <br />
