R. Oesch Construction Co., Inc., <br /> 534 Bren-Litz, Ballwin, Mo., for their lowest and best bid of $42,401.80. The City <br /> Manager said there were also alternate bids for asphalt repairs of Cabanne Avenue <br /> (east of Eastgate) but that work was not recommended. Since the pavement was con- <br /> crete, the recommendation was included with Project No. 731, including other con- <br /> crete renovation work. <br /> Mr. Adams moved approval. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unani- <br /> mously. <br /> <br /> SALE OF OBSOLETE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> The City Manager said bids had been taken on the sale of excess computer equipment, <br /> which became obsolete due to the purchase of new computer equipment. A bid was re- <br /> ceived from Universal Equipment Leasing Corporation of $510 for this equipment, con- <br /> sisting of a Courier Terminal, printer, controller and remote controller. Since <br /> this equipment was originally purchased by the federal government, Mr. Ollendorff <br /> asked that Council approve the sale, subject to any federal regulations which may <br /> apply. <br /> Mr. Levy moved approval, with Mr. Adams seconding the motion. All voted Aye. <br /> SITE PLAN REVIEW - UNIVERSAL SEWING SUPPLY <br /> <br /> The City Manager recommended approval of a Site Plan submitted by Universal Sewing <br /> Supply, East Park and Bartmer Industrial Drive, which is expanding its operations <br /> in Cunningham Industrial Park, The plan has been reviewed and found to be in con- <br /> formance with various ordinance requirements. Approval should be made subject to <br /> Plan Sheet 2 dated August 17, 1982 and a landscaping plan to be approved by the <br /> Director of Planning prior to issuance of a general construction permit. Mr. 01- <br /> lendorff said he felt fortunate to be witnessing the results of the foresight <br /> shown by the Council in establishing the City's industrial park, and he also wished <br /> to commend the staff for its diligent efforts in bring this project to the con- <br /> struction stage. In addition, he thanked Universal Sewing Supply for expressing <br /> confidence in the future of the City in this way. <br /> Mr. Adams moved approval, contingent on the above conditions. Mrs. Thompson sec- <br /> onded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br />
