<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Session 1310, Minutes Page 6 <br /> June 21, 1982 <br /> <br /> BIDS FOR READY-MIX CONCRETE, CEMENT AND MARKING LIME <br /> <br /> The City Manager paid the C-.-y solicited bids from three area suppliers for the fur- <br /> nishing of ready-mix concrete, cement and marking lime for use during fiscal 1982- <br /> 83. Only one response was received, from Breckenridge Materials Company, which bid <br /> as follows: <br /> Picked up Delivered <br /> 1982-83 1981-82 1982-83 1981-82 <br /> Ready-mix Concrete, regular $36.55 $36.55 $38.55 $38.55 <br /> Cement, regular, in paper sacks 5.20 5.20 6.75 5.50 <br /> Marking lime, 50 lbs, 3.50 3.20 4.10 3.75 <br /> It was recommended that the award be made to Breckenridge Materials Company in the <br /> amount of approximately $11,013.00. <br /> <br /> Mr, Schoomer moved approval. Mr. Adams seconded the motion, which carried unani- <br /> mously. <br /> <br /> BIDS FOR CRS-2 ASPHALT <br /> The City Manager said the City solicited bids from five suppliers for the furnish- <br /> ing of CRS-2 asphalt for the Street Division, with the following responses: <br /> <br /> Missouri Petroleum Products Company $21,665 <br /> Bitucote Products Company $22,050 <br /> This year's price is $0„619 per gallon as compared to last year's price of $0.700 <br /> per gallon. Mr. Ollendorff recommended acceptance of the low bid of $21,665 made <br /> by Missouri Petroleum Products Company. <br /> <br /> Mr. Adams moved approval, wi.th Mrs. Metcalfe seconding the motion. All voted Aye. <br /> <br /> BIDS FOR GASOLINE.REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY <br /> The City Manager said the City solicited bids from twelve area suppliers for the <br /> furnishing of gasoline, with.estimated requirements as follows: 107,500 gallons <br /> regular; 51,000 gallons unleaded; 28,000 gallons #2 diesel and 3,000 gallons #1 <br /> diesel.
