<br /> <br />Mr. Glickert introduced Bill 9096 <br />First, Second and Third readings were given to amended Bill 9096 <br /> <br />Mr. Crow asked for someone to walk him through the dog park organization that is now <br />asking for a 50 percent increase in fees. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert stated that the dog park board is a volunteer, not-for-profit organization which <br />was founded about nine years ago. The park is located at Vernon and Pennsylvania on <br />about one acre of land. The fee increase is the first increase since the dog park’s inception. <br />The increase is for capital expenditures to improve the dog park play area. It would include <br />sod, water, fence and locks. There are 500 members of which forty percent are University <br />City residents. <br /> <br />City Clerk read the last line for administrative change three times, to correct the charges as <br />reflected in the above title. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved Bill 9096 as amended for approval and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe. <br /> <br />Roll Call vote was: <br />AYES: Mr. Kraft, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, and Mayor Welsch <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br />Bill 9096 carried unanimously and became Ordinance 6835. <br /> <br />3. <br />BILL 9099 – An ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 6830 so as to change the <br />tax rate for commercial property in the University City Loop Special Business District from <br />$.516 to $.498 on each $100.00 of assessed valuation; containing an emergency clause. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow introduced Bill 9099. <br /> <br />First, Second and Third readings were given to Bill 9099. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft moved Bill 9099 and was seconded by Mr. Crow. <br /> <br />Roll Call vote was: <br />AYES: Mr. Kraft, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, and Mayor Welsch <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br />Bill 9099 carried unanimously and became Ordinance 6836. <br /> <br />N.
