Session 1744 <br />January 25, 1999 <br /> <br />BOARDS AND COMMISSION LIAISON REPORTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel called .a point of order, noting that the Mayor did not ask for liaison reports. <br />Mayor Adams responded that he did not believe that these reports were formally set up as <br />of yet and asked Council when they would like to have them. Mr. Schoomer suggested that <br />they be held the first meeting of each month. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer reported that on February 4th and 6th , the Arts and Letters Commission will <br />be reviewing the design for the Student Sculpture project. The Mayor noted that, for the <br />record, future liaison reports will be handled the first meeting of each month. <br /> <br />CITY CLERK'S DOCKET: <br /> <br />BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READING: <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8410 - ADOPTING A NEW MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY <br />CITY, MISSOURI AND REPEALING THE EXISTING CODE; CONTAINING A SAVING <br />CLAUSE. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved adoption. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, <br />Mr. Sharpe, Mayor Adams NAYS: none.
