Mr. Reeves, and approved that CALOP request that all future films and films in progress <br />change acknowledgments to include: 1) the CALOP logo, 2) language which points out that <br />CALOP is funded by AT&T and Charter subscribers, and 3) the logos of each cable franchise, <br />upon written approval by the franchises. <br /> <br />Mr. Nickels asked that the amount of revenue received from Charter and AT&T be identified <br />separately on future budget reports. <br /> <br />The commission discussed Ms. Walter's retirement. Mr. Nickels will contact the school <br />district regarding appointing a new school representative to serve on CALOP. The <br />commission discussed ways to acknowledge Ms. Walter's years of service as a member of <br />CALOP. <br /> <br />Liaison Report <br />Commission members reported on the progress of the film projects, to which they serve as <br />liaison. <br /> <br />#15 Princeton. Mr. Nickels reported that the homeowners are one month away from <br />completing renovation. Filmmaker Steve Behrends is in final editing of the shoot. Mr. Nickels <br />is working to obtain the 100-year historical home plaque; placement of the plaque on the <br />home's exterior will be recorded as a scene of the film. <br /> <br />St. Benedict's Rule. Mr. Nickels relayed that Jay Kanzler, filmmaker for the project, gave a <br />presentation on the status of the project to the commission in April. <br /> <br />Hidden Children of the Holocaust. Mr. Riggs received a report from the film's co- <br />producer that the filmmaker continuing work on the film and had obtained powerful <br />interviews. <br /> <br />A.O.R. STL. Mr. Friedman will contact the Mike Steinberg for a status report. <br /> <br />Oral History Project. Mr. Nickels reported that the project had been completed up to a <br />certain point. CALOP will need to determine what to do with the footage. <br /> <br />William Clark: the Aftermath of Glory. Mr. Riggs reported that filmmaker James Scott <br />plans to submit the film in October. Mr. Scott also indicated that he would like to set up a <br />screening of the film. <br /> <br />A Different Way of Life. Mr. Friedman will contact Brent Jaimes for an update. <br /> <br />Old St. Ferdinand's Shrine: From Pioneers to Present. Mr. Riggs reported that, <br />according to filmmaker Leah Gantz, the film was 35 minutes long. Mr. Riggs indicated that <br />the time of the film would be sufficient for HEC-TV and that he would check with Charter <br />Communications. <br /> <br />Wehrenberg Theatres: the First 100 Years. Mr. Wilcox reported that filmmaker Daniel <br />Byington had rough cuts and would like to give a presentation at the next commission <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Roof on Fire. Mr. Wilcox reported that filmmaker David Noble had rough cuts which he <br />would like to show at the next commission meeting. <br /> <br />Knock, Knock America. Mr. Riggs reported that although filmmaker Rebecca Rivas <br />submitted a final product, issues regarding copyright, releases, and censorship (offensive <br />language had to be bleeped n accordance with FCC regulations) needed to be addressed. <br />2 <br /> <br />
