<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes - Plan Commission <br />Page 5 <br />March 28, 1990 <br /> <br />moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the <br />application for Conditional Use Permit #281, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The storage area indicated on the floor plan <br />submitted shall not be used as restaurant <br />seating, banquet facilities or other use. <br /> <br />2. Trash containers for patron use shall be <br />available on the premises at all times and <br />the operator shall regularly police the area <br />adjacent to the restaurant as well as the <br />area to the south to remove litter and <br />debris. <br /> <br />3. An outdoor refuse disposal box and <br />surrounding area shall be maintained in a <br />clean and sanitary condition at all times. <br /> <br />4. An exhaust system shall be installed or other <br />means shall be taken to prevent any food <br />preparation odors or cooking odors beyond the <br />limits of the General Commercial District. <br /> <br />5. A landscape area is to be installed to the <br />east of the east line of the parking area and <br />also at the front of the site for the <br />easternmost 30 feet. It is to be installed <br />and maintained in accordance with a landscape <br />plan submitted to and approved by the <br />Director of Planning. These landscape <br />installations will require cutting out <br />asphalt. <br /> <br />6. Hours of operation shall be limited to 11 <br />a.m. - 10 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Washington seconded the motion. Mr. Tsai stated that he was <br />already working with the city in an effort to get some trees <br />planted near his property. Chairperson Kreishman reiterated to <br />Mr. Tsai and the applicant that the Plan Commission was hereby <br />recommending additional landscaping areas beyond those currently <br />on the site. After additional discussion, the motion was <br />approved by a vote of 6-0. <br /> <br />ELECTION FOR THE OFFICE OF VICE-CHAIRMAN <br /> <br />Chairperson Kreishman opened nominations for the office of Vice- <br />Chairman which had been postponed from the February meeting. Mr. <br />Safe nominated Mr. Marsh for the office of Vice-Chairman. Mr. <br />
