Mr. Jordan <br />responded to another question by Mr. Marsh by stating that the <br />projected hours of operation for the repair service would be 8 a.m. <br />- 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday. <br />Mr. Foxworth asked if Sinclair expected to find contaminated soil <br />on the site when the tanks were replaced. Mr. Hea stated that he <br />did expect to find contaminated soil, but that this was, <br />unfortunately, a common occurrence. <br /> <br />Chairperson Kreishman opened the public hearing on the application <br />and asked if anyone wished to comment. As no member of the public <br />asked to speak, the Chairperson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />After some further discussion, Mr. Kendall moved that the <br />Commission recommend approval of Sinclair's application for a <br />Conditional Use Permit subject to the fOllowing conditions: <br /> <br />1. Required parking shall conform to the standards for width and <br />length and shall be delineated to identify separate parking <br />stalls. <br /> <br />2. The refuse box shall be relocated to the rear of the property <br />away from public view. <br /> <br />3. Existing fencing on the north side of the property shall be <br />extended to within twelve (12) feet of the Hanley walkway. <br />All existing fencing shall be maintained in good repair. <br /> <br />4. A detailed landscape plan shall be submitted to the Director <br />of Planning for his review and approval. Landscaping shall be <br />installed and maintained in accordance with the approved plan. <br /> <br />5. Overnight outdoor parking or storage of wrecked, derelict, <br />abandoned and/or unlicensed vehicles is prohibited. Overnight <br />storage of motor vehicles is limited to the parking area to <br />the rear of the building. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Foxworth and passed by a vote of 6- <br />o. Ms. Elwood informed Mr. Hea that the application would likely <br />be considered by the City Council at its meeting on Monday, October <br />1st. <br /> <br />APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #287. Mr. Prentiss Carradine of <br />7920 Glenside Place was present to represent his mother, Sarah <br />Harris, in her Conditional Use Permit application for a carry-out <br />fish restaurant at the Westover Center. Mr. Carradine stated that <br />his mother had reviewed the staff report on their application for <br />the restaurant and agreed that all the stated conditions could be <br />
