City Council referred several items back to the Plan Commission
for consideration as future amendments/revisions. One item was up for consideration this evening.

Plan Commission has been asked to review Redevelopment Area 18 and determine if a revision to the
designated redevelopment areas is warranted. Specifically, Plan Commission must consider whether any
additional residential lots on Barby Lane and West Kingsbury Avenue should be removed from the
redevelopment area. A public hearing must be conducted on this matter prior to Plan Commission action.

Ms. Riganti presented the staff report. Currently several residential properties on West Kingsbury
Avenue and Barby Lane are included in Redevelopment Area 18. To better reflect preferred land use
patterns and recent development changes, staff recommends the revision of the redevelopment area to
remove seven (7) parcels on Barby Lane and twelve (12) properties on West Kingsbury Avenue.
