4. ChanQe Lindell Blvd. from a one-way to a two-way street from Forsvth Blvd. to approximatelv 120 feet north of Forsvth Blvd. On February 25, 2008 the Public Works Department notified the residents and businesses in the 7300 block of Lindell and Forsyth Blvd. of the proposed change for Lindell Blvd. from a One-way to a Two-way Street from Forsyth Blvd to approximately 120 feet North of Forsyth Blvd and requested that they provide their comments. No residents were present at the meeting. The Traffic Commission recommended that the assignment of the entire segment of Lindell Blvd between Forsyth and Manhattan be considered as a One-Way street north-east bound. Shaw, resident at 7315 Lindell Blvd. Apt. 1, sent an email dated March 24, 2008, opposing to the proposal, because it is already quite difficult and sometimes dangerous when traveling South on Lindell and attempting to make left turn, going East on Forsyth. Because of the parking allowed in front of Casad ilia's and the Tailor shop, in addition to residential street parking going eastward along Lindell, a person turning left onto Forsyth, often cannot see the oncoming traffic. She would be opposed to this proposal unless parkinq is limited in front of Casadilla and the Tailor's Shop to improve visibilitv. . Katharina Panjaitan resident at 7326 Lindell Blvd, and Bryan and Kelly Himmelsbach residents at 7355 Lindell Blvd sent an email dated March 12, 2008, opposing to the proposal and suggested considerinq the entire seqment of Lindell Blvd between Forsvth and Manhattan to be a one-way street northbound. Public Works recommends: . For the Residential Parking Permit System to be implemented in Lindell from Manhattan to Forsyth. . For the traffic configuration to stay the way it is, one way southbound Lindell from Manhattan to Forsyth . For the visibility at Lindell and Forsyth to be improved by limiting the parking spaces. 5.
