<br /> <br /> <br />Traffic Commission Minutes <br />September 10, 2003 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> <br />?Present were Phillip Berg (Hi/Tec copy center), Benjamin Trujillo (Star Clipper <br /> <br />Comics), Mark Munstesman (7014 Pershing), Molly Edler (7011 Pershing), and <br />James Mooney (7007 Pershing). <br />?Even when the businesses owners are not happy about it, all of the presents <br /> <br />agreed to leave the parking restriction the way it is now. <br /> <br />The Commission voted to leave the parking restriction the way that it is now. <br />Parking Prohibition on 7000 block of Pershing Ave. from 10:00 am to 2:00 <br />p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except by <br />Residential Permit. The sign must stay at the First Home after the <br />businesses southbound and at the intersection with Big Bend northbound. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Restrict parking on north side of 7200 block of Pershing (from <br /> <br />Wellesley to 100 feet west of Rossi Ave. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION: <br />On June 10, 2003 a Traffic Request Form was submitted by Larry Lieberman to the City <br />Manager requesting “No Parking” on north side of 7200 block of Pershing (from <br />Wellesley to 100 feet west of Rossi). <br /> <br />This issue was previously discussed on July, 2003 Traffic commission meeting. Notice <br />letters were sent to all residents at 7200 block of Pershing. <br /> <br />It is the recommendation of the Engineering Division to leave the parking restriction the <br />way that it is now. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> <br />?Present were Charles Zelazinsky, James and Jennifer Sanders (7203 Pershing), <br /> <br />Anthony and Ellen Balestreri (7210 Prshing), Kathryn Hewitt (7214 Pershing), <br />and Bob Wagner (7052 Kingsbury, Council Member). <br /> <br />?Mr. Zelazinsky (8025 Delmar) represents the residents at apartment buildings on <br /> <br />7216 and 7218 Pershing.
