They anticipate a
large overflow of cars and a lot of activity on residential streets during the evening.

The Traffic Commissioners voted for the restricted hours for the residential parking
permit system be changed and extended to 12 (noon) to 9:00 p.m. every day.

3.Study for Del Lin Drive

Please find attached a traffic request from Sean Davis dated September 17, 2005.
He is requesting that Del Lin Drive be blocked at the alley just south of Forsyth Blvd.
He stated that residents along Northmoor are concerned about the amount of
commercial traffic, theft, vandalism, crime, litter and illegal parking, mostly from
businesses on Forsyth.

Currently, parking is prohibited on Del Lin Drive as follows:
Del-Lin Drive: West side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard.
On the northeast corner of Del Lin and Northmoor from the east property line at
7347 Northmoor to a line extending five feet north of the access driveway for 7347
Northmoor.

Also, parking is prohibited on the east side of Del Lin, for 25 feet south of Forsyth
and on both sides of the entrance of the alley just south of Forsyth.

High commercial traffic may be a result of the Metro construction project. This area
is under study because it is in the vicinity of the future Forsyth metro link station.

The traffic commissioners voted for the request to close the street at the alley to be
denied and for the area to continue to be studied for possible parking problems due
to metro link construction/implementation.
V:\WP51\Mariela-Projects\Traffic Commission\minutes\2005\Minutes 11-9-05.doc
