Mr. Mass felt <br />it was a breach of the grant agreement and he has written the Municipal Park <br />Commission to share his thoughts. <br /> <br />Dr. Ethan Schuman, 8258 Groby Rd <br />Dr. Schuman spoke against the lights on Ruth Park driving range. He said there was <br />flawed information provided to the residents about the range. He said certain activities <br />do not belong in residential neighborhoods. He said the neighbors also suffer from <br />constant noise, and traffic congestion. <br /> <br />Holston Black, 1336 Mendell Dr <br />Mr. Black spoke on the disparity of response for citizen speakers except those speakers <br />from the Loop businesses. He noted that the minutes did not reflect what he had said at <br />the last meeting. <br /> <br />Stanford Carp, 911 Barnard College Ln <br />Mr. Carp was present to speak in favor of the Ruth Park driving range lights. He noted <br />that he had previously spoken on the need of a driving range to increase revenue for the <br />City. Mr. Carp said the next election it will be an issue and all in favor of the lights will <br />cast their votes. <br /> <br />Barry Mandelbaum, 8250 Groby Rd <br />Mr. Mandelbaum spoke against the lights at Ruth Park driving range and affirmed the <br />problems with litter, loss of property value, congestion, traffic and safety issues and loss <br />of tranquility. He thanked those responsible for not turning on the lights. <br /> <br />Renee Dreyfus, 1020 Laval Dr. <br />Ms. Dreyfus noted she was a realtor and said while property values on McKnight <br />remained the same, the property values around the golf course decreased on the <br />average of $45,000. She stated that she put her trust in the elected officials to make the <br />appropriate decision concerning the driving range. <br /> <br />William Field, 7152 Kingsbury <br />Mr. Fields stated the administration in place at the time the driving range was built had <br />no concern for the neighborhood. He said that removal of the lights is a start to dealing <br />with the many problems created by the design of this ill conceived facility. <br /> <br />Acme Price, 8236 Balson <br />Mr. Price commended the current administration saying its decisions been good in doing <br />what is proper for the citizens and the results have been excellent.
