<br /> <br />Park Commission Minutes – 52411, pg. 2 <br />Council Liaison Report <br /> <br />Ms. Ricci reported the following: <br />rd <br /> <br /> Last of the Public meetings for the fiscal year 11-12 budget was held Monday, May 23; 2011-12 <br />budget should be approved by City Council by June 26, 2011 <br /> <br /> Bill 9112 has been pulled for Council review <br /> <br /> Inventory is being conducted on electricity and light poles located in University City <br />th <br /> <br /> Rain Garden Block Party was held May 15 at Oakbrook Park <br /> <br />Final Disposition of Driving Range Committee <br /> <br />Mr. Winker gave an overview of meetings and survey results and indicated the committees results were <br />sent to City Manager for his review. <br /> <br />Discussion of Park Commission By-Laws/Ordinances <br />Ms. St Clair motioned as per City Charter and ordinances, Park Commission move to halt Ackert Park/Walk <br />construction until design & development plans are brought before Park Commission for review & <br />recommendation to Council. Ms. Dille seconded the motion. Vote taken: all approved. <br />Ms. Peoples moved to reopen the driving range light issue for review and recommendation to Council. Ms. <br />St. Clair seconded the motion. Vote taken: all approved. <br />Ms. Peoples motioned that bylaws be revised to show change from nine (9) members to seven (7). Ms. <br />Dille seconded the motion. Vote taken: all approved. <br />Ms. St. Clair motioned that all park related business be brought before Park Commission. Ms. Peoples <br />seconded the motion. Vote taken: all approved. <br />Ms. Ricci indicated as Council Liaison, she will provide a cover letter to accompany the Park <br />Commissioners’ request. <br />Pre-Opening Status Report for Heman Park Swimming Pool <br />Ms. Euell-Taylor provided an overview of the pre-opening status of Heman Pool. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
