Mr. 011endorff said that was correct on both points. <br />Councilmember Thompson said she felt the increase was too large. It was pointed <br />out that these charges are applied only to those who do not show up in court or <br />who try to avoid paying their fine. It was also noted that University City's fees <br />have not been increased for quite some time, and are now being adjusted to corre- <br />spond with what.is paid in other municipalities. <br />Councilmember Sabol moved that this bill be adopted as ar_ ordinance. Councilmem- <br />ber Kelley seconded the motion. upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Lieberman, Adams, Metcalfe, Kelley, Sabol and Mayor Mooney. <br />Ns&,' SS: Cc-'. ci'.z.embet Thompson.
