Mr. 011endorff said that was correct on both points. Councilmember Thompson said she felt the increase was too large. It was pointed out that these charges are applied only to those who do not show up in court or who try to avoid paying their fine. It was also noted that University City's fees have not been increased for quite some time, and are now being adjusted to corre- spond with what.is paid in other municipalities. Councilmember Sabol moved that this bill be adopted as ar_ ordinance. Councilmem- ber Kelley seconded the motion. upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYES: Councilmembers Lieberman, Adams, Metcalfe, Kelley, Sabol and Mayor Mooney.
