Session 1239, Minutes <br />March 10, 1980 <br />Page 11 <br />BILLS FOR ADOPTION AS ORDINANCES <br />BILL NO. 7379 (AS AMENDED) - AMENDING CHAPTER 34 MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZON- <br />ING, BY REPEALING ARTICLE IX., AND ENACTING.THEREIN.A..,NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />11AD1rTrT V TY uTRTnRTr.AT. FF.ATi3RES AND DISTRICTS." <br />Consideration of Bill No. 7379 (as amended) was. postponed until a later meeting. <br />BILLS FOR SECOND READING <br />BILL NO. 7400 - FIXING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO CITY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOY- <br />EES AS ENUMERATED HEREIN FROM AND AFTER MARCH 10, 1930, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 5193. <br />Bill No. 7400 was given its second reading. <br />Bill No. 7400 was given its third reading. <br />Councilman Adams moved that this bill be adopted as an ordinance. Councilman <br />Sabot seconded the motion. Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYES: <br />Councilmen Adams, Metcalfe, Kelley, Sabol, Glickert, Lieberman and Mayor Mooney. <br />NAYS: None. Bill No. 7400 became Ordinance No. 5212. <br />BILL NO. 7401 - AMENDING CHAPTER 21 MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND <br />TRAFFIC, AND ENACTING THEREIN A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-174.2. <br />CLOSED STREET LOCAT'IONS, BARRICADES, DURING DESIGNATED`HOURS." <br />Bill No. 7401 was given its second reading. <br />Bill No. 7401 was .given its third reading: <br />Councilman Adams moved that this bill be adopted as an ordinance. Councilman Sabol <br />seconded the motion. Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYES: <br />Councilmen Metcalfe, Kelley, Sabol,.Glickert, Lieberman, Adams and Mayor Mooney. <br />NAYS: None. Bill No. J401.became.Ordinamce. No. 521.3. <br />BILL NO. 7402 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY__OF UNIVERSITY CITY AND THE CITY MANAGER OF <br />UNIVERSITY CITY TO ENTER INTO CONTRACTS WITH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI, FOR <br />MOSQUITO CONTROL .SERVICES.,- - : t <br />Bill No. 7402 was given its second .reading— <br />Councilman Lieberman said he had not.received.an.answer to his question as to <br />whether or not the unincorporated.areas.of the County are charged for mosquito <br />control service, as the incorporated areas are. Mr. Ellman said the County does <br />not do larviciding in unincorporated parts of.,the County, according to Mr. Mitchell <br />of the St. Louis County Department.of Health. <br />Bill No. 7402 was given. its -third zeading.- <br />Councilman Adams. moved -that this..bi.11._be..adopted.as an ordinance. Councilman Kel- <br />ley seconded the motion. Upon roll call, the following vote -was recorded: AYES: <br />Councilmen Kelley, Sabol, Glickert, Lieberman, Adams, Metcalfe and Mayor Mooney. <br />NAYS: None. Bill No. 7402 became Ordinance No. 5214. <br />
