<br />Creative Printing was given the contract for $11,375 as the company with the lower <br />bid failed to produce an explanation of the tax lien that was placed against their <br />business. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2. Leaf Collection Contract for October-December 2006 <br />City Manger recommended that the contract for leaf collection be split between two <br />bidding vendors. The major share would go to Hendel LawnCare since they have <br />provided excellent service to the City for the past three years and Complete Curbside <br />Leaf Removal, a qualified new vendor would receive a portion of the contract. (If the <br />latter company performs well, it will be able to bid for a larger share of the work in the <br />future). The total bid was for $68,500. <br /> <br />3. Liquor License – 6608-A Delmar <br />The Twisted Olive restaurant applied for an upgrade to a full liquor license and <br />Sunday sales. <br /> <br />4. Diesel Exhaust Removal System-Fire Department <br />The Fire Department has indicated that Ward Diesel Filter Systems is the only <br />supplier of the system required for installation in Fire House #2. The bid was for <br />$26,022. <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved for approval, seconded by Ms. Brot and approved unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />1. Conditional Use Permit Change – 6625 Delmar (Qdoba). Request was to change <br />closing hours from 12 a.m. to 3a.m. <br />Mr. Glickert moved for approval, seconded by Ms. Brot and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Conditional Use Permit Change – 7640 (Starbucks) – to allow for a drive-through <br />restaurant <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval, seconded by Ms. Brot and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Conditional Use Permit Request – 612 -& 614 North and South – to allow for a <br />restaurant with five conditions. The request come from Momo’s which adjoins the <br />property. <br />Ms. Ricci moved for approval, seconded by Mr. Wagner and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Conditional Use Permit Request – 6691 Delmar aka Cicero’s – to allow a marquee <br />sign at 6691 Delmar. <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval, seconded by Mr. Sharpe Jr and approved <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. FY 06 Fourth Quarter Budget Transfers - Ms. Feier requested a general fund <br />budget transfer of $217,251 to close out the FY 05-06 year at $2,514,202. The <br />ending budget is $217,215 more than the planned budget, thus necessitating this <br />transfer to make the end of the FY 05-06 be balanced. The increased expenditures <br /> <br /> <br />
