CALOP has established a policy of creating a liaison with each grantee. <br />• Each member of the Commission is appointed by the Chair to be the liaison with a <br />specific grantee or grantees. <br />• The liaison is the go-between between the Commission and the grantee to assist the <br />grantee in completing his or her program on a timely basis and to report on the progress <br />of the grantee to the Commission. <br />OBJECTIVE TWO <br />To provide a method to archive and preserve CALOP produced films and <br />original footage. <br />PROCEDURE TO ACHIEVE CALOP OBJECTIVE TWO <br />All CALOP produced films will be stored in a digital format and permanently preserved in <br />readily accessible archives. <br />• All existing programs that have not been digitized will be digitized. All new programs will be <br />received and stored in digital format. <br />.The number of copies of each film shall be such that at least one copy is available to all <br />broadcasting cable networks for airing purposes, two copies for citizen usage through the <br />library, <br />one copy for backup archival purposes and at least one copy for rental purposes. <br />• Extra copies and masters will be stored securely. <br />• A Commissioner will be appointed by the Chair to coordinate the archiving of all masters and <br />copies through the Washington University Media Archives. <br />.An appointed Commissioner will work closely with the Archivist of The Historical Society <br />of University City to ensure the preservation of any programs relating to the history of <br />University City. <br />OBJECTIVE THREE <br />To expand CALOP’s presence in the City of University City and the Greater St. <br />Louis Region. <br />PROCEDURE TO ACHIEVE CALOP OBJECTIVE THREE <br />To work closely with other University City Commissions, organizations, Universities and <br />Colleges as well as Regional Commissions and organizations to promote CALOP and to <br />assist CALOP in achieving its Mission. <br /> <br />
