<br />I. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />J. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />K. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />1. Conditional Use Permit application at 863 Westgate Avenue, building height and setback <br /> Mr. Walker said that staff is recommending approval. <br /> <br /> Mr. Price moved for approval and was seconded by Mr. Glickert. <br /> <br /> Mr. Crow asked if the variance from the Planning Commission for the set back issue was <br />to the north and west if it would not impact the residents. Mr. Walker said that was <br />correct. <br /> <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Olivette and University City Joint Redevelopment Implementation Committee (JRIC) <br />budget for Professional Assistance <br /> Mr. Walker said that Olivette and U City will work together and will share the cost of the <br />budgeted amount of $50,000. He said that he recommended approval of the budgeted <br />amount of $25,000 for legal services. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sharpe moved for approval and was seconded by Mr. Kraft. <br /> <br /> Mr. Crow said that Armstrong Teasdale is a very reputable firm with extensive relative <br />experience. He asked if the other four firms had similar experience because Armstrong <br />Teasdale was not the lowest bid. Mr. Walker said he believed it was based on their <br />experience and past dealings with other municipalities. He also said that it was a joint <br />decision between OIivette and U City. <br /> <br /> Mayor Welsch said that as the Council rep to this Commission, all the firms had similar <br />experiences, but not all of the firms said that they would be willing or able to do all of the <br />specifics of the jobs connected to the RFP. <br /> <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Consideration of an extension to the Reciprocal Golf Agreement with the City of Creve <br />Coeur was removed. <br /> <br />L. COUNCIL REPORTS/BUSINESS <br />1. Boards and Commission appointments needed <br />Mr. Glickert apologized to Mae Etta Weston for the way that she learned that she was no <br />longer on the CALOP Commission. He said that he had no idea. <br /> <br />The Mayor reminded all Councilmember’s that they receive a monthly updated Boards <br />and Commission list from the City Clerk which provides all the expirations of member’s <br />terms. <br /> <br />Ms. Ricci apologized to Mae Etta Weston, as well. Mayor Welsch also apologized to Mae <br />Etta Weston. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />
