<br />Mr. Sorkin stated that there likely was not a liability with the reduced setback but it is more of an <br />aesthetic issue. <br /> <br />Mr. Greatens added that in the IC District, no property line setback is required. If a building is to <br />be setback, it shall be five feet. Once a building exceeds 35 feet, the setback is 15. The fire depart response was that they would to try to avoid turning on sirens <br />until they are out of the neighborhood. Mr. Senturia stated he would like to include that <br />comment with the recommendation. <br /> <br />Ms. Felton made a motion to approve the Conditional Use Permit with conditions in Attachment <br />B of the Staff Report and that the fire department has stated their intent to try to avoid turning <br />sirens on until they are out of the neighborhood.
