Mr. Kraft said the new logo was voted down therefore everything automatically
reverts back to the old logo.

Mr. Sharpe said something needed to be done if Council wants to allocate more
money to bring back the old signs. He stated that some kind of direction needs to
given to Mr. Walker by Council.

Mayor Welsch asked if it would help if Avant provided the research that went into the
rebranding. She said there was a difference between choosing a logo as in 1976 and
rebranding.

Mr. Glickert said because the majority voted against the new logo, everything will
have to be pulled back, signs, paper, envelopes, business cards, etc.

Mr. Price stated that he did not know why the City was rebranded when that money
could have been used on streets and sidewalks which would bring people in. He said
it is not the first time the City had to eat costs as they did on the calendars last year.

Mr. Kraft said the old signs are probably around and just put them back. He said it
was the logo that was voted down, which had nothing to do with the rebranding.

M. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
BILLS
1. He requested Council unanimously
approve this bill.

Jan Adams, 7150 Cambridge Ave
Ms. Adams noted there was a conflict in Ms. Carr’s campaign to what she now
proposed in regard to who turns off the lights. Ms. Adams asked Ms. Carr to clarify
her conflicting statements on whether the Driving Range was making money. Lastly
Ms. Adams asked the City Manager to keep track of all costs involved in reverting
back to the old logo.

Ms. Carr noted she provided to Council data showing daily temperatures during the
winter months. She said this would interject some common sense into a resolution
that says lights should be on.

Mr. Kraft said Ms. Carr was quite clear and the lights did not matter but if the
numbers were looked at, the driving range lost money in December, January, and
February. He noted from Ms. McCartney’s figures that from 6:00pm to closing in
December, January, and February, they sold 58 buckets of balls. He said for 90
9
