Since Enright is so
narrow, servioe deliveries my be a problem; Louis Irondon would like assur-
ances that the right-of-way stays as it is now. He understood that the City
wanted a multi-stozy building, not a one-story with a two-story facade. As
the last available pr~ on Delmar, he was dismayed that such a building
might be erected. He suggested that the Special Business District provide an
opinion on this proposal. Finally, his group has a vested interest, with 90
employees now, and they hoped a new malti-story buildin~ next door w~uld al-
low them to expand. He
described the project in detail, reviewed the changes made to cc~ply with the
conditions, and said every effort was made to fit into the surrcund/r~ area.
He said Enright will not be affected, and parking will be adequate. Also,
the sculpture on top of the building brings it almost to three-story height.
Four retail tenants are proposed for the eastern part of the site. Respond-
ing to Mr. ~, he said the north elevation is 22-23 feet high. Mr.
Adams asked if they had considered erecting a taller build/ng.

Mr. Joe Edwards, 6309 McPherson, said he and Pete Rothschild bought the prop-
erty a year ago after it had been vacant for some time.
