The many church members present applauded. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - 1995-96 PROPERTY TAX RATES <br /> <br />The city Manager said a public hearing was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. this date <br />and place for citizen cc~m~ents on proposed tax rates for 1995-96. The total <br />of $1.30 breaks down as follows: General Fund $.78; Library $.32; Police and <br />Fire Pension $. 02; Debt Retirement $. 18. A separate tax of $.85 applies only <br />to the Loop Special Business District. The total rate is the same as that <br />set in June follc~ing budget b~arings. After the public hearing, Council may <br />act on tax bills on tb~ city Clerk's docket. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus opened the public hearing at 7:41 p.m. There were no requests <br />to speak and the hearing was closed at 7:41 p.m. <br /> <br />SITE PIAN- 66DiVERNON <br /> <br />Tne CityManagerrecommendedapproval of thesiteplanamendment for anaddi- <br />tiontoMascoSt. Louis with thefollowingconditions: <br /> <br />1. He rec~mmnded approval of the increases for Heman <br />pool, O~mm/nitq~ Center, tennis permits, and the golf course.
