<br />She stated that staff would have some potential suggestions and would provide a memo for the <br />Plan Commission to review. She added the potential to proceed with additional studies. <br /> <br />Ms. Riganti added that some items for the Plan Commission members to keep in mind included <br />the City Council request for a parking and traffic study which would probably be underway in <br />October. She stated that the study was expected to take 6 to 12 months, but would depend on the <br />scope yet to be defined. Ms. Riganti stated that with that timeframe in mind, what staff would <br />like the Plan Commission members to consider is the process. She added that they may not have <br />time to incorporate the study into the Plan. She stated that the original work plan presented to <br />the funding agencies was accepted by them and has been exceeded. She added that the overall <br />deadline was still able to be met. Ms. Riganti stated that staff would like the Plan Commission to <br />help move the project forward in a timely manner so staff could revise the work plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Halpert asked who the funding agencies were. <br /> <br />Ms. Riganti stated it was HUD and DOT. <br /> <br />Mr. Halpert asked what the amount was. <br /> <br />Ms. Riganti stated it was $315,000. <br /> <br />Mr. Halpert asked what the deadline was. <br /> <br />Ms. Riganti stated it was a 3-year grant and the original work plan showed that the project would <br />be approved by August of this year. <br /> <br />Mr. Lai stated that prior to May; the City was asked whether the work would be completed by <br />August of this year. He told the funding agencies that the Plan was getting close to having it <br />approved and told them it would be wrapping up in summer; that was the impression they got <br />from <br /> <br />Mr. Halpert asked how the money was distributed, if it could be used, and how far into the <br />$315,000 we were. <br /> <br />Mr. Lai stated about half. He stated that reimbursement had been requested for about half of it. <br />He added that invoices had been received and there would be more. <br /> <br />Mr. Halpert asked if funds were being paid to the consultants. <br /> <br />Ms. Riganti stated consultants and sub-consultants. She added there may be some additional cost <br />not in the original scope and budget. <br /> <br />Mr. Lai stated there were some local matches provided by partners. <br /> <br />Mr. Senturia asked if the funds had come from HUD and DOT to University City, where <br />Washington University came in and how much they were a part of it. <br /> <br />tm; E <br /> <br /> <br />
