BILL 9171 <br /> – An ordinance to authorize the City Manager to execute a contract <br />between the City of University City and the Missouri Highway and Transportation <br />Commission providing for the improvements and installation of a traffic signal at the <br />intersection of Westgate Avenue and Olive Boulevard. <br /> <br />O. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION <br />Ms. Elsie Glickert, 6712 Etzel <br />Ms. Glickert stated she was firmly opposed to the proposed arrangement regarding the <br />Loop Trolley stub being on Delmar at the Library. She stated a list of reasons which <br />included it this area being an historical district. A complete copy of Ms. Glickert’s <br />comments can be found at the end of these minutes. <br /> <br />P. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Mr. Crow reiterated Mayor Welsch’s greetings and appreciation to the Wolf Den Cub <br />Scout Pack #113 from Jackson Park Elementary School and all of the parents that <br />attended the City Council meeting. He also extended his compliments to the members of <br />the Walkability Task Force who made a presentation during the Study Session. He said <br />it was clear that the members of that committee took their charge very seriously and he <br />was engaged throughout the wonderful presentation. Mr. Crow also congratulated <br />th <br />COCA on their 25 year celebration of being in University City.
