COUNCIL COMMENTS
Ms. Carr asked Mr. Walker to address the Council where the City was on some of the items
that were funded in last year’s budget, as the status of the website changes and mentioned
things that could be done at no cost. She spoke about having an accountability portal and it
is wonderful, the documents should be up on the website and easily accessible and
searchable. She said Mr. Walker would put together some analysis as to where Council is
in terms of previously funded items.

Mayor Welsch gave a brief advance notice regarding a suggestion made by Ms. Elsie
Glickert regarding an answer section at the Council meeting. She said she would be
researching it more and would share this with Council in the next month.

Mayor Welsch said University City Education Foundation, UCEF, was having a fundraising
event at Plowsharing Crafts on Monday, December 3, 2012, and if you make a purchase on
that date, the UCEF would get a portion of the bill. She said for more information to please
go to the University City Education Foundation’s website.
23
