Session 1761 <br />July 26, 1999 <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe reported that the Traffic Commission had not met recently since his last <br />report. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (4 ITEMS): <br /> <br />#1 - Repair of Ladder Truck #2612.' An invitation to bid was mailed to vendors <br />to perform repair work on the Fire Departments' ladder truck. The ladder truck <br />was purchased in 1982 and has sustained a significant amount of rust damage <br />over the course of its years in operation. Only two companies in Missouri perform <br />the repairs needed. Following is the only company that bid on the work: <br /> <br />Precision Fire Apparatus ........... $32,943.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Rose recommends awarding the repair work to be performed on the ladder <br />truck to Precision Fire Apparatus for their bid for $32,943.00. <br /> <br />#2 - Bid Tabulation - Calendars: Bids for printing the 2000 City Calendar have <br />been received as follows.
