<br />Mr. Stacy Clay, 1328 Midland Drive <br />Mr. Clay represented the School Board and School District of University City. He felt <br />honored to stand and join in the praises for Richard Dockett. Mr. Clay said that without <br />Mr. Dockett, there would be no Stacy Clay, president of the University City School Board. <br />Mr. Clay said Mr. Dockett and others helped pave the way for him and others to achieve <br />and become a vital part of the University City community. He said he was proud to see <br />this proclamation going forth and honored to stand in support of it. Mr. Clay <br />acknowledged the school board and district members who were in attendance in support <br />of the proclamation. <br /> <br />Bernetta Campbell, 7051 Corbitt Avenue <br />Ms. Campbell just wanted to say thank you to Mr. Dockett for his open arms and detailed <br />information he provided her when she relocated to University City. She said since then <br />she has been very active in University City. <br /> <br />Mr. Price stated that Mr. Dockett was a man of integrity, a man of his word and a man of <br />conviction. Mr. Price said it was hard today to find people who are convicted in what they <br />believe in and stand for what they believe in, which is Mr. Dockett. Mr. Price said Mr. <br />Dockett stands for what he believes in, he backs what he believes in and he was <br />convicted in what he was going to tell you and what he was going to do for you. Mr. <br />Price said that if it was not for Mr. Dockett asking him to run for City Council again, he <br />would not be on the City Council today. Mr. Price thanked Mr. Dockett for his many <br />years of support. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch read the proclamation that declared January 19, 2013, as Mr. Richard <br />Dockett Day in the City of University City. <br /> <br />Mr. Price and Mr. Sharpe presented Mr. Dockett with a plaque from the City and the <br />proclamation from the City Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Dockett said thank you and said that he plans to keep moving on and moving forward <br />and never backwards. <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />1. <br /> The minutes of December 10, 2012, City Council Study Session were moved for <br />approval by Mr. Sharpe, were seconded by Ms. Carr and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br /> The minutes of December 10, 2012, City Council Regular Session were moved for <br />approval by Mr. Glickert, were seconded by Ms. Carr and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. <br /> Mr. Glickert nominated Steven Goldstein to be appointed to the Parks’ Commission <br />replacing Karen Dille, was seconded by Mr. Crow and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
