Session 1769
November 8, 1999

The motion to approve carried unanimously.

AGENDA #9 - RESUBDIVISION FINAL PLAT 7931 GANNON:

Mr. Ollendorff concurs with the Plan Commission recommendation for approval of a final
plat dividing the property at 7931 Gannon into three lots. One lot would be at this address
and include the existing two story home. Two new vacant lots would be created fronting on
Cornell which could then be used for construction of new single family homes. All City
ordinance requirements are met by this plan.

Mr. Munkel moved approval. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion.

Responding to Mr. Munkel, Mr. Ollendorff said that there were not any plans for any
construction as of yet.

Katie Woods, 8012 Old Bonhomme, responding to Mr. Munkel, stated that this was part of
the Central Suburbs subdivision and not part of the Fairbrook subdivision across the street
which requires 100' street frontages. Central Suburbs requires 50'. The subdivision
indentures were checked to make sure that they were alright to build. They are planning to
build ordinary half a million dollar houses on these lots just like the ones surrounding them.

The motion to approve carried unanimously.

AGENDA #10 - CONSIDERATION OF REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION PERMIT - LIFE
SKILLS FOUNDATION:

Mr. Ollendorff recommends approval of a request from the Life Skills Foundation to allow
volunteer representatives to conduct a Tag Day in University City on Friday, April 28, and
Saturday April 29, 2000. Solicitations will take place in front of businesses between the
hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Advance permission must be obtained from each
business before the solicitation can take place. Similar activities are being planned
throughout St. Louis City and County.

The application states that cost of raising funds in the solicitation will not exceed 25% of
the total amount raised. Also, a representative of the organization has been invited to be
present at tonight's meeting, should the Council have any questions.

9
