<br /> <br />J. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> None <br /> <br />K. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />1. <br />Sidewalk and curb ramp upgrade recommends award to low bidder, Lamke <br />Trenching & Excavating, Inc. for $411,596.25. Staff recommended taking the <br />additional $50,876.25 needed from the $475,000 budgeted for Street and Sidewalk <br />repair. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve the award to Lamke Trenching & Excavating, was <br />seconded by Mr. Price and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />Site Plan review application for 633 N. McKinght Rd for an addition to an existing <br />commercial building (conversion from bank to apartment leasing office). <br /> <br />Ms. Carr moved for approval of the site plan review application for 633 N. McKnight <br />Rd and was seconded by Mr. Crow. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert asked why the ATM machine was to remain: <br /> <br />Scott Boulding, Boulding Architecture, 325 North Kirkwood Rd. <br />He stated Commerce Bank which is in the process of selling the building requested <br />that the ATM remain. He said the new owners also wanted it to remain in service for <br />residents of their apartment buildings. <br /> <br />The motion to approve the site plan carried unanimously. <br /> <br />L. COUNCIL REPORTS/BUSINESS <br />1. Boards and Commissions Appointments Needed <br />Mayor Welsch read the appointments needed. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow asked about the Board of Appeals assigned appointment date transferred <br />to him and was confirmed by the City Clerk that the year should be 2013 rather than <br />2012. <br /> <br />2. Council Liaison Reports on Boards and Commissions <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3. Boards, Commissions and Task Force Minutes <br /> Mayor Welsch stated that City Council received copies of the Board and Commission <br />minutes in their packets. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr said she attended the Traffic Commission meeting and there was an <br />absence of staff present. She said the commission would have benefited from a <br />presentation of an update on the Loop and an update on the mock roundabout. In <br />addition the police liaison was unable to make it because of a department <br />emergency but thought this information should be transmitted so the commission <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
