<br />Ms. Carr clarified that the decision was made in July 2012, to which Mr. Wilson <br />agreed. <br /> <br />1. <br />Site Plan Review application for 8351 Delcrest Drive for a new building to be used <br />as a daycare/preschool facility <br /> <br />Mr. Crow moved to approve the Site Plan Review and was seconded by Mr. <br />Glickert. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert asked if the developer was influenced by the apartment development <br />going in across the street. <br /> <br />Preston Amos, the site developer, 6 Google Ln, Frontenac MO. Mr. Amos stated <br />that was not considered in their development. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert asked why the developer chose that particular site. <br /> <br />Mr. Amos said it was the site identification at this location; the proximity to Clayton <br />and to Interstate I70. Delmar is a major artery bringing customers in and out of <br />all different areas of the region. They look at the density and the location when <br />picking sites to develop. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />IT contract renewal for $90,780 with Tech Electronic. Mr. Walker noted that since <br />having Tech Electronic provide the Information Technology services, the IT <br />budget has decreased along with the City being provided with exceptional service. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved for approval of the IT contract, was seconded by Mr. Glickert <br />and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. <br />Charitable Solicitation Permit for Fund for the Public Interest. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow moved to approve, was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />4. <br />Police uniforms annual order for $41,848.15. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to approve the annual Police uniform order, was seconded by <br />Mr. Price and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />L. COUNCIL REPORTS/BUSINESS <br />1. Boards and Commissions Appointments Needed <br />Mayor Welsch read the appointments and reappointments needed. <br />2. <br />Council Liaison Reports on Boards and Commissions <br />Ms. Carr asked to again address the Human Relations Commission. She said <br />she noted, now in the amended minutes, there was a provision that stated the <br />commission authorized Mr. Olander to continue. Ms. Carr said as listening to the <br />recording of the meeting, she did not find that but had a brief section she wanted <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
