<br />Mayor Welsch closed the Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />J. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />K. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />1. <br />Ms. Joylynn Pruitt Superintendent of the University City School District, <br />introduced, Dr. DeAun Blumberg who now serves as the Executive Director of <br />Communications and Community Outreach. <br /> <br />Ms. Blumberg stated she has been a resident of University City for 30 years and <br />was excited about the new opportunity to serve the District, making the District <br />more accessible to the community, to encourage the community to have more of a <br />role in decisions, and to make known the work the District does with their <br />students. Ms. Blumberg asked residents to give her a call with questions or help <br />as she would not know until they call. <br /> <br />2. <br />Sidewalk and Curb replacement - staff recommended the award to Krupp <br />Construction for $298,178.05. Mr. Sharpe moved to approve the sidewalk and <br />curb replacement, was seconded by Mr. Crow and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr asked if they were all replacements or if any were for new sidewalks. <br /> <br />3. <br />City Council’s consent to release restrictive covenants in the Deed of Trust on <br />8351 Delcrest Drive in order to construct a new building to be used as a <br />daycare/preschool facility. <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved to approve, was seconded by Mr. Crow and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />4. <br />Purchase technology for data storage, backup and disaster recovery was <br />recommended to be awarded to Tech Electronics for $100,143. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr moved to approve the award to Tech Electronics, was seconded by Mr. <br />Sharpe and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. <br />Liquor license for Liling Kitchen, 8435 Olive Blvd with Sunday sales. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to approve the liquor license, was seconded by Mr. Kraft and <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. <br />Conditional Use Permit (C.U.P.) application for 7290 Olive Blvd and 1166 Midland <br />Blvd – U-Haul. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to approve the permit, was seconded by Mr. Crow and the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft asked if the space was to be used for more parking. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
