Adjacent <br />residents want the City to move fencing and x--,-~ve unwan~a vec3etatic~, but <br />public funds my not be used to improve private p~Ferty, although the City <br />has authority to r~n~ve undesirable vegetation on public or private pxuperty. <br /> <br />Nayor Najerus opened the public N~ving at 7:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Ms. Patricia Green, 8445 ~, asked if her ~_rty wuuld be f~er~e~__ if <br />the alley is vacate. Mr. Ollendorff said c~oe the City vacates the alley, <br />Ms. Green oould claim half the easement next to her b~me- and put up her own <br />ferr~ if she wishes, but the City will not do any felcing, c~ly clean-up. <br /> <br />Mr. Loretta Sheltc~l-Smith, 8348 Fullerton, asked for ccelfirmation that the <br />City will remove unwanted vegetation and also if U. City in Bloce will work <br />with the residents to preserve whatever is preservable, as d~xmssed earlier. <br />Sba a~a why the City could not improve this p~u~xty if it is City-owned. <br />She also said that some residents in the area are tenters and could not erect <br />or move felces. She said unless there is a way to close off the ~m~nt at <br />both ends, the pr~blen of unwanted activity on this site will c~ntinue. <br /> <br />Ms. Vivian Rhodes, 8316 Fullertom, asked how utility co~anias could get ac- <br />cess to the easemmnt if it is closed at both ends; she also war~a to know if <br /> <br /> <br />
