Based on
the above mentioned information, the Public Works Department is not in support of this request.
Commissioner Hales requested that staff provide stats on the streets that are less than 25 feet wide.
Commissioner Hales proposed that streets that are 25 feet wide or less should have parking prohibited
across from driveways. Petitioners would need to get 70% of the
property owners to sign a petition. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Womack.
Commissioner Brot opted to withdraw her motion.
Commissioner Womack made a motion to have a petition filed by the resident, but was unsure of the
affected households, therefore withdrew his motion.
Commissioner Brot made a motion to ask for a petition in the affected area of the Virgia & Sandra
Daniels, the property owner of the home across the street, and the house next to it with shared
driveway. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Womack, and unanimously approved.
Commissioner Wofsey explained to Mrs. Daniels that a petition is required to collect signatures from
6923, 6924 and 6922 Raymond Ave, property owners to be considered by the Traffic Commission in a
future meeting.
5.
