CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br /> <br />1. <br />Conditional Use Permit (C.U.P.) application for 6261 Delmar Boulevard – Kevin <br />Flynn with Kiku Obata and Company, on behalf of Joe Edwards with Peacock <br />Loop Diner, with frontage on Delmar Boulevard in PD-M Planned Development – <br />Mixed-Use District. <br /> <br />Mr. Price left the Chambers and was not present to vote on City Manager Repots <br />1 and 2. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve, seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />Approval to grant authority to City Manager to sign change order for additional <br />asphalt overlays and local repairs to approved contractor, Ford Asphalt Company <br />in the amount of $344,331.10. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to approve, seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />3. <br />Approval to grant authority to City Manager to sign and enter into two contracts <br />with consultant, SWT Design, Inc. for St. Louis County Municipal Park Planning <br />Grant for Heman Park Master Plan–consulting services agreement and <br />supplemental agreement for Centennial Commons Analysis. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr moved to approve, seconded by Mr. Glickert. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert asked Mr. Walker if the Community Center in Heman Park was included <br />in the services agreement. Mr. Walker stated that it was included although a <br />supplementary study will be conducted based on suggestions put forward by staff. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow asked if the total cost of the contract between University City and the <br />Municipal Park Grants Commission was included in the contract. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works & Parks Richard Wilson stated that the total cost of the <br />contract was $60,400.00 is derived from the City’s cost of $54,000, plus $6,400 from <br />the grant. <br /> <br />Voice vote on Ms. Carr’s motion to approve carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
