April 14, 1990, was received and or- <br /> CTr1ZEN COMMENTS <br /> Mr. Alex Feldman, 1233 Backer, congratulated Mayor Majerus and Council embers <br /> Price, Schomer and Schoer on their reelections. Mr. Feldman complained about <br /> a dunpster that sits on his street which he and his neighbors want to have re- <br /> moved. Mr. 011endorff said this was an administrative matter, and the dungy- <br /> sten would stay because the alternative that was already tried did not work. <br /> He noted that another alternative, a roll-out dunpster, may become available <br /> in a few months. Mr. Feldman said the loudspeaker <br /> correctly. He also said it was a system is still not working <br /> correctl apparent from the differing amounts in the <br /> tallyingof the <br /> propositions on the April 3rd ballot that voters did read the <br /> ballot. However, he felt there were too many propositions to vote on. He al- <br /> so <br /> asked the City not to put any new pavement in Heman Park. <br /> Ms. Genies Jordan, 7035 Melrose, said she was concerned about some graffiti at <br /> Partridge and Olive and in several other locations. She was afraid that if <br /> businesses are penalized byhaving to remove graffiti, they might move some- <br /> where else. She asked if the City could work with businesses to help <br /> of the graffiti. Mr. Price agreed with Ms. Jordan, but noted that get rid <br /> the offenders very difficult to apprehend.
