Invitations to bid on furnishing the <br /> estimated number of vehicle tires for the fiscal year July 1, 1990 - June 30, <br /> 1991 were sent to 21 suppliers, with the following response: <br /> General Tire Service (no bid - 3 items) $29,910.60 <br /> Easton Tire Company 33,890.77 <br /> Custom Tire & Wheel 36,168.57 <br /> Purcell Truck Tire 40,642.00 <br /> Froesel Tire 40,817.53 <br /> Dobbs Tire & Auto 40,976.00 <br /> No bids were submitted by the known minority or female dealers. It was recom- <br /> mended that the bid be split as follows: Easton Tire, $19,378.70; Custom Tire <br /> & Wheel, $9,705.22; and General Tire Service, $4,189.58; for a total amount of <br /> $33,273.50. <br /> Site Plan - 6271 Delmar (#11) . Site plan approval was recommended for a non- <br /> profit retail shop (Plowsharing Crafts) which is relocating from 6301a Delmar. <br /> All Code requirements have been met. <br /> Consideration of Bids for Sidewalk and Curb Repair - Various Locations (#12) . <br /> Bid proposals for sidewalk and curb repair at various locations (Project #837) <br /> have been received as follows: <br /> D. <br /> Bennish Constr.
