He asked Council to add <br /> any comments or suggestions for improving the letters by Wednesday. <br /> BILIS FOR SECOND AND THIRD <br /> READINGS <br /> None. <br /> BILLS FOR nuporucrioN <br /> BILL NO. 7975 - ORDERING THE LEVY AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES TO BE COLLECTED <br /> IN UNIVERSITY CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990-91, TO PROVIDE FOR GENERAL REVENUE, <br /> FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF A klitE PUBLIC LIBRARY, AND FOR THE POLICE AND FIREMEN'S <br /> RETIREMENT FUND; CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. <br /> A bill was introduced by Councilmember Adams, entitled: <br /> "AN ORDINANCE ORDERING THE LEVY AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES TO BE COLLECTED <br /> IN THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1990-91, TO PROVIDE FOR <br /> GENERAL REVENUE, TO PROVIDE FOR THE FART ISHMENT OF A FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY AND <br /> READING ROOM, AND TO PROVIDE FOR A POLICE AND FIREMEN'S RETIREMENT FUND; AND <br /> CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE." <br /> The bill was assigned No. 7975 and given its first reading. <br /> Bill No. 7975 was given its second reading. <br /> Bill No. 7975 was given its third reading. <br /> Mr. Schooner moved that this bill be adopted as an ordinance. Mr. Adams sec- <br /> mnded the motion. Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYES: <br /> Councilmenbers Price, Adams, Wagner, Schuman, Schocmer, and Mayor Majerus. <br /> NAYS: None.
