Majerus with a <br /> University City T-shirt manufactured by Doo-Wah Ltd. Ms. Perry said the <br /> shirts are for sale at Blind Mice for $10. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR (TWD ITEMS) <br /> Bids for Tennis Court Resurfacing (#1L. Invitations to bid on resurfacing the <br /> four southern tennis courts at Heman Park were sent to ten contractors, with <br /> the following response: <br /> Frazier-Davis Construction Co. (female owned) $23,463 <br /> Byrne & Jones Construction 23,930 <br /> St. Louis Paving, Inc. 25,928 <br /> N. B. West Contracting 26,875 <br /> Acceptance of the bid of $23,463 from Frazier-Davis Construction Co. was rec- <br /> ommended. The budget estimate for this work was $25,000. <br /> Village of University Place - Plat No. 3 (#2) . The Plan Caiunission recommends <br /> approval of Plat No. 3 which represents the next phase of this previously ap- <br /> proved development. The proposed plat meets all conditions previously set by <br /> the City in the Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Review. <br /> Mr. Adams moved approval of the Consent Calendar. Mr. Schooaner seconded the <br /> motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING - REZONING 6808 AND 6816 WASHINGTON <br /> The Deputy City Manager said the public hearing to consider rezoning of 6808 <br /> and 6816 Washington from "HR" High Density Residential to "PA" Public Activity <br /> was set for 7:30 p.m. this date. The Plan Commission and staff recommend the <br /> rezoning in order to better accommodate the mixture of residential, office and <br /> institutional nes previously approved for these properties. <br /> Mayor Majerus opened the public hearing at 7:44 p.m. There were no requests <br /> to speak, and she closed the public hearing at 7:44 p.m. <br /> Mr. Schocaner requested the preparation of appropriate legislation. <br />
