Also, she was not taken with the idea
of putting an activity of this type into a strip shupping center.

Mr. Price agreeing_. that more inforr~tion was needed, althoug~ he was in favor
of the concept. However, he was conoerned about having week night sessions,
when students would ha doing he~a~3rk. Ma. Stanford-Gorckm to pk~Nide information on clubs similar
to what she was trying to establish. She knew of other clubs, but said there
had been trouble since tb~y were not membership clubs. Mr. Ollendorff sug-
gested including how non-m~mbers would be ke~t fLum the pL~LdSeS.

Mr. Aa~ asked if there were any other sites available, and Ms. Stanford-
Cordon said she was looking around. Mr. ~dams asked that the staff be made
available to see if another site could be found.

All voted Aye.

SITK ~ -- WAR~E AI~JlTIC~], 8678 0LI'VE

Tne City Manager reo~,~,LLende~ apprcrv-~l of a site plan for a warehouse addition
at 8678 Olive, subject to the following ccrr]iticrs:

1. A ten (10) foot wide rear yard shall be maintained for tha addition.
2. All areas of the site, with the exception of the landscaped area in front
of the existing building shall be paved with blacktop or concrete paving.
3. The parking lot shall be striped to indicate at l~t six automobile
parking stalls.
4. Tne existing landscape area shall be maint~ as a planted area.

Tne architect, Mr. Donald W. Bruck~reitens, 10234 Bach, showed drawings dem-
onstrating how the addition would look. He said there was a question about
the fight condition, which his plans show as five feet, but suggested it be
determined by himself and Director of Planning Al Coldman. Mr. Coldman said
if the condition is left at 10 feat, it precludes moving the building to the
property line; the Code re~?~es either ten feet or zero. After brief dis-
cussion, it was decided that Condition #1 should read:

1. The rear yard will be in full c~pliance with the Zoning Code.

mover and sec~nder accepted that chart/e, and all vo~a Aye.

PURCHASE OF PaeUSE T~3CK

The City Manager rec~Lended purc/lase of an aaa~tic~kll Hell refuse truck frum
