BILL NO. 8458 - FIXING DEFERRED COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO CERTAIN FIRE AND POLICE OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES FROM AND AFTER APRIL 1, 2000, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6084. BILL NO. 8459 - AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY ENACTING A NEW SECTION "10.36.155 RIGHT TURNS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES OR DURING DESIGNATED HOURS", CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. The bill was given its first reading. The bill was given its second reading. Mr. Wagner moved adoption. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. Mr. Ollendorff pointed out that this intersection involved a county and a city street. This will cover Washington, a city street, but then it needs to be submitted to the County. The County needs to adopt a similar ordinance before it goes into effect. He has no idea whether the County will agree with this or not. The Councilmembers may wish to write the County Councilmembers asking for support of the ordinance.
