Session <br />April 3, <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />1779 <br />2000 <br /> <br />The applicant shall provide sufficient information in the building permit application <br />that shows that the existing structure has sufficient structural strength to support the <br />applicant's proposed telecommunications antennas. <br /> <br />The proposed telecommunications antennas shall not cause signal interference with <br />telecommunications antennas on existing towers or structures. <br /> <br />All telecommunications antennas and support structures shall meet or exceed current <br />standards and regulations of the FCC and any other state or federal agency with the <br />authority to regulate communications telecommunications antennas and support <br />structures. Should such standards or regulations be amended, then the owner shall <br />bring such devices and structures into compliance with the revised standards or <br />regulations within six (6) months of the effective date of the revision unless an earlier <br />date is mandated by the controlling agency. <br /> <br />All telecommunications antennas and support structures shall be protected from <br />unauthorized access by appropriate security devices. <br /> <br />The telecommunications antennas and support structures shall not be lighted unless <br />required by the FAA or other state or federal agency with authority to regulate <br /> <br />The placement of advertising on antennas and support structures is prohibited. <br /> <br />Human occupancy for office or other uses by the applicant and/or the applicant's <br />successors or the storage of other materials and equipment not in direct support of <br />the connected telecommunications antennas by the applicant and/or the applicant's <br />successors is prohibited. <br /> <br />Telecommunications antennas attached to the building or disguised <br />telecommunications antenna support structure shall be of a color identical to or <br />closely compatible with the surface to which they are mounted. <br /> <br />All facilities shall be maintained and improved to remain in the condition in which <br />they were approved. <br /> <br />If the antenna or support structure becomes obsolete or is not used or is inactive for a <br />period of one year it shall be considered a nuisance and be removed at the owner's <br />expense. <br /> <br />Construction, maintenance and operation of the antennas shall be in strict <br />compliance with Section 34-64 of the University City Zoning Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
